  1. The Australians are doing wonderful work, but we’ve got to meet teachers in the region where they’re actually at. Edmonton schools and teachers aren’t even close to being ready to advocate in this way. As the EPSB just doesn’t want to hear about the reality and prevalence of fetal alcohol disorders, it’s parents who will have to push for the training of teachers and accommodation and support for students.
