Supporting Self-Regulation with Individuals with FASD

This webinar features presentations from Dr. Jacqueline Pei, the CanFASD Senior Research Lead; Tracy Mastrangelo, a service provider in the field of education; and Jennifer Noah, a caregiver and Executive Director of the Piruqatigiit Resource Centre.
Self-regulation is the ability to regulate your thoughts, feelings and behaviours in response to your environment. Self-regulation is important in our daily lives, but individuals with FASD often experience challenges with self-regulation. In this presentation, we will explain the concept of self-regulation and how it relates to individuals with FASD and also provide examples of strategies to improve self-regulation.
This video is part of our CanFASD webinar series, bringing evidence-based research on FASD to Canadians from the comfort of your own home.
